　　 昨日，袁隆平院士回到母校武汉四中跟学生座谈，当有学生向袁老请教学英语秘诀时，他认为，学英语的最大障
　　碍就是怕羞不愿意开口说，如果随时随地看到什么都尽可能用英文表达，一定能说一口流利的英语。
　　 座谈中，袁老坦言自己的数学学得不够好是很大的遗憾，他认为数学是科学之母，一切学科都要以数学为基础，他告诫同学们一定要学好数学，不要有跟他一样的遗憾。
　　 袁隆平院士1943年~1948年在武汉四中（原博学中学）就读，1993年第一次回到母校，2001年成为武汉四中的名誉校长，此次是他第四次回母校。

Yuan Longping (born September 7, 1930) is a Chinese agricultural scientist and educator, known for developing the
