关于worth和worthy的区别
其实这里有三个词汇有相关：worth, worthy, worthwhile
这三个形容词均可表示“值得的”意思，各自还有其他的含义。在这里，当都表示“值得的”时，区别主要体现在用法上：
●作定语时，worthy和worthwhile 都可以作名词前的定语，而worth [名词前不可用]只能作后置定语：
1. He is a worthy gentleman.
他是位值得尊敬的绅士。
2. They achieved a very worthwhile result.
他们取得了很有价值的成果。
3. His mother inherited a farm worth 15,000 dollars a year. （后置定语）
他母亲继承了一处年产值为1.5万美元的农场。
●使用修饰语时，worthy和worthwhile 都可以用very来修饰，worth则用well，如：
4. That is very worthy of our attention.
那件事很值得我们注意。
5. Nursing is a very worthwhile career.

●搭配习惯
▲后面跟名词、代词、动名词时，be worth 和be worthwhile都可直接跟，be worthy 则要要加介词of才行，如：
