Only if 是“只有当(只是在 ...的时候)”的意思,用在这里作“唯有”讲再棒不过!并且其引导的是一个从句,因此if后接spread the wings是可以的,也可以写成only if you spread the wings,当然我个人认为在这里不加“you”更好,因为you和主句的主语是一致的,加了显得重复,读起来也不流畅.
个人认为在这里不能把spread写成v-ing形式,因为only if后接从句,改成spreading后从句便没有了谓语.要用v-ing也可以,那得把if 改为by,only by doing.
3L的朋友的flutter感觉有些道理,spread the wing表示展翅,flutter the wing表示振翅,但是我联想到苍鹰在天空翱翔的时候,会把翅膀展的很开,而不会大频率地去振动翅膀；又想到小鸟要想飞起来的话 也得不断地去振动翅膀 才能飞得起来.可能要先振翅 再展翅吧 也有可能小鸟振翅,大鸟展翅吧...
哎 我也迷糊了 挺矛盾的 不知道该有哪个好~LZ根据自己的心境和状态选择吧!凭经验感觉spread the wings用的比较多.
