have an agreement with sth.和 agree with sth.
是一样的,但
have an agreement with sb 就不同了,
其正确意思是 “与某人有协议” .
有协议不等于精神上或理念上一致.
有协议是双方通过商讨后达成的协议/契约,
尽管你理念上未必同意协议内所说的东西,但你同意履行协议里的条款,
比如：I have an agreement with Tom to buy the car,which is a Volvo.Tom thinks Volvos are great cars.I am not crazy about Volvos.I think Hondas are better.But we WILL buy the Volvo,because I did make that agreement with him,even if I do not agree with Tom on Volvos being great cars.
