transmit 是指传播信号,节目,无线电波传输等（包括现在手机电脑网络上的数据传送,比如Can the iPhone transmit phone book data over Bluetooth?）.引申出来有：把疾病、恐惧等无形的东西传递,传染给别人,别的地方.
第一个意思(vi.& vt.)：to broadcast something,or to send out or carry signals using radio,television,etc:

第二个意思(vt.)：to pass something from one person or place to another:
