　　lend指借出.i lend a pen to mary.
　　我借给了mary一支笔.
　　lend是“往外借”,就是把东西借给别人
　　borrow是“往里借”,从别人那借东西
　　I borrowed the book from he=He lent the book to me.
　　主要知道往里借还是往外借就行了
　　 lend的主语是“借出方”,borrow的主语是“接到方”
　　所以如果你要管别人借书的话可以说:
　　Could you lend the book to me?
　　Could I borrow the book (from you)?
